Sokli

Sokli is a remote place in the Eastern Lapland in North Finland - far away from anything.

Because of my job I had to travel there regularly for about a decade starting in the early 90's.

Seeing the unique landscape made me grab the camera and take pictures - mostly autumn scenes.

A set of these images were printed and exhibited in Kemira Oyj's head office in Helsinki in May 2000.
