Landscapes

Outdoors - both on land and at sea - has always been an important part of my life.

However, the landscape started to appear on my film only some 10 years ago.

My primary intention was to capture something I could hang on my wall and enjoy for myself.

Birds and animals require such skills and patience, which I do not have.

But the landscape is always there waiting for me – I thought.

Quite soon I learned that it is never that easy – there is another hunt going on.

The hunt for the right moment in an ever changing light.

Mostly I have photographed landscapes in the National Parks in Finland, but also some in Sweden.
